about

I finally finished another composition of new music inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's creatures for my single called "Murmurings of Nyarlahotep". It was a 4-day marathon of composing, track creation, mixing and mastering. It runs almost 14 minutes long. I have been releasing music since 2005. And I honestly hold this work -- in my estimation -- as being in the top five synth pieces I have ever been graced to create.

There are 13 tracks mixed into this stereo song with oodles of panning and synth textures. There is present an intentionally ominous and foreboding atmosphere to accurately cover Lovecraft's depiction of the creature Nyarlahotep as truly ancient, timeless, mysterious, shape-shifting, powerful and immensely dangerous.

Everything was done on synth apps for iPad. Most everything was done using Sunrizer. The tribal drums were done via another app I cannot remember now. It doesn't matter really.
