Weird Little Groove Space

about

This is the last track for my tribute to the Ozrics, Tangerine Dream, Steve Roach and even Jeff Beck. Yes, the intended, upcoming release was too diverse to call it only an Ozrics echo.

This is a 5-track piece that grew out of a simple progression I played for 4 minutes on my Sunrizer synth app. I discovered to my delight -- I could create a track. Save it and then play it on my iPad's VLC media player -- and . . . then open Sunrizer back up and find another preset to play as a live recording along with track 1 spinning on the VLC player. I repeated the simple process until I had enough tracks saved.

I then uploaded them to my private server and downloaded them to a PC with Cubase open where I imported and synced them all together, Bam! -- done -- all in a few hours.

The final track (right channel) was a dated sounding Hammond B3 organ preset that I then cheese-ily played in the style of that classic 1969 release -- Moog: The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman.

So here it is warts and all -- left as is for that cherished live feeling.

ENJOY!
