about

After a 9-day marathon of creating an ambient piece each morning -- I feel that now -- "the album" -- is complete. I feel it is my most calming, inspiring and relaxing album to date. My "Rebirth" release from 2015, sourcecodex.bandcamp.com/album/rebirth -- is nearly as calming but this one is the most simple, direct and non-complicated sonicly speaking, in the fact that it is comprised of one-take, single stereo track recordings.

I hope you enjoy it.

For references, it mostly reminds me of works by Liquid Mind (Chuck Wild), Darshan Ambient (the late Michael Allison) -- both good friends of mine for decades -- and lastly -- perhaps a bit of Brian Eno may trickle into some places.

All the pieces were created via soft-synth apps for iPad. Many thanks to Matthew at AudioKit Pro for his superb synth apps -- and of course a huge thank you to Bob Moog for making this electronic genre a reality.

I highly recommend you listening to this recording via a quality music system that can handle the lower frequencies of these pieces. Cheap headphones, earbuds or cell phone speakers may not adequately handle the deep bass notes properly. Any distortion that may be detected is not in audio file itself but due to your equipment only. Thanks.

The album cover is a circa 1940s photo of my grandparents' home place and farm. Most all my best memories were experienced there.
